Lake clean up at Dum Dum Park

An intensive clean up of lake under the Dum Dum Park Co-operative was undertaken for ecological restoration of water body that was polluted by immersions over many decades.

Earth Hour celebratio involving 100 volunteers in waste segregation on 28th March, 2026

Sea Explorers' Institute collaborated with WWF and Nature Club of Calcutta University to undertake segregation waste collected from the surface of River Hooghly. West Bengal Pollution Control Board supported by connecting us with recycling agents.

Secretary General of SEI participated in Edu Vision South Asia, A GEIST India initiative

Dr Sudeshna Chatterjee, Secretary General of Sea Explorers' Institute participated in Edu Vision South Asia, A GEIST India initiative held on 21st March 2026 emphasizing the need to connect people specially the youth for sustainability of initiatives.

Art workshop under Nadir Sange Dekha

15 Scholars of Lalit Kala Academy participated in experiential art creation while sitting on the bank of the Ganga in Kolkata. Dr. R K Mohanty, deputy Secretary (P&D), Lalit Kala Academy was present to encourage his scholars.
